Since 1985, I’ve been passionate about quiltmaking. I spent 15 years creating quilts, followed by 20 years designing them. After retiring from the quilting world, I ventured into turning my embroidery work into an Etsy business—something that was a perfect fit during the pandemic. Two years ago, I opened a second Etsy shop featuring my small collage quilts with a variety of themes, from Alice in Wonderland and classical composers to religious motifs, and medieval romantic tales. Just before Christmas 2024, my granddaughter and I embarked on a new adventure—launching a business creating luxurious body scrubs, moisturizers, and handmade soaps. It’s been an exciting and rewarding journey, stepping into a world beyond textiles. And since I never do things halfway, there will be hundreds of indulgent soap scents to explore.
